Town Meeting voted to postpone several significant warrant articles and all major financial items until a second phase of the meeting scheduled for June 15, 2026. This includes Article 33 regarding Stormwater Management and Article 29 concerning the PMUD district, both of which were indefinitely postponed during the second night of deliberations.
Additionally, a formal resolution from resident Tom Whan was read into the record, demanding that the Select Board explain the town’s current $7 million deficit, the lack of a full-time Town Administrator for over a year, and issues with budget management and staff turnover. The Moderator announced that the remaining financial articles (Annual Articles 2-7 and Special Article 2) would be addressed in June, allowing more time for the town to finalize its FY2027 budget projections.
