DPW Superintendent K. Ryan noted that the funds are fully reimbursed by the state, meaning there is no net cost to Marshfield taxpayers. These funds are fully reimbursed... so there's no net cost,
Ryan said. Advisory Board member S. Swain highlighted the ongoing need for road maintenance, noting that the DPW has already utilized over 80 tons of pothole mix this year. The funding will support a variety of upcoming paving and repair projects across the town.
Motion: To appropriate $1,177,356 in anticipation of Chapter 90 reimbursement.
